Students from Jesenice and Aachen have visited the Notranjska Regional Park

On Wednesday, February 6th, 40 students from Jesenice and Aachen visited the Notranjska Regional Park. They are involved in the international project called Environment builds bridges – youth in european dialogue. Students were represented activities and goals of the park, Cerknica Lake as a natural value, the project Life06 NAT/SLO/000069 Intermittent Cerknica Lake and our nature protection network of schools and kindergartens. The project Environment builds bridges is not centered only in understanding of nature protection, but also in journalism. Students research the theme as real journalists and then publish their articles in newspapers, such as Delo, Aachner Zeitung and Aachener Nachrichten.

After our representation was completed and all questions were answered to, the students were taken to see Cerknica lake and Rakov Škocjan
