Today, the ocular of our binoculars will show you three multi-purpose piers, which will be useful in all seasons and at every water level of our ever-changing lake. Each will be different, each will be special and adapted to its location.
The only common characteristics of the three piers is that they are made of wood and that they will not be rigid piers, but rather floating pontoon piers. These will be connected to land by a pontoon bridge, that will allow access at all water levels, since it will rise and fall with the water level of the lake. Piers will be entry-exit points for vessels with place for mooring. At the same time, they will be pleasant spots for calming and relaxed nature observation, for sitting around, or even for a romantic moment for two.
Now look closely, the binoculars will show you each pontoon separately. You will also see our colleague Dejvid Tratnik, who will tell you some interesting facts about them.
Pontoon Rešeto:
Location: in the vicinity of sinkhole Rešeto. To reach it, you have to turn right after you pass the parking lot by village Dolenje Jezero – you turn to a small macadam road that branches off towards the west at the beginning of road Dolenje Jezero – Otok.
How many boats will we be able to moor to this pier?
Pontoon Stržen:
Ll
Location: by the road Dolenje Jezero – Otok, a few meters from the bridge.
Pontoon Suhadolica:
Pontoon by cave Suhadolica, which is currently completely flooded with water, will offer secret, almost hidden access for boats, as well as a place for contemplation and meditation for those on foot, on a slope overgrown with forest (Ušiva loka). There will be several connected mobile platforms, 28.5 meters in length, connected by a fixed wooden platform on the lake shore.
NEXT TIME on Binoculars: our gaze through the binoculars will show this
