We are already well into new year and again here is our invitation for you to become part of new LIFE`s themed weekend activities of 2021 Spring/Summer season. Each weekend on Saturdays and Sundays we will organize various activities intended for visitors of the Notranjska Park. We are planning to launch them (if epidemiological conditions allow it) in April and go on every weekend until the end of September, which means 24 weekends and 48 activities. If you would like to organize any of them, let us know. We will choose the best suggestions!

PUBLIC CALL for guided activities of the themed weekends 2021
As part of LIFE STRŽEN project implementation, The Public Institution of Notranjska Regional Park co-finances organization of guided tours activities during the Themed Weekends 2021.
The purpose of co-financing the activities is to promote tourism products – guided tours aimed to divert visitors from the most sensitive areas and to create sustainable and nature conservation promoting guided tours of Lake Cerknica. The Public Institution Notranjska Regional Park will provide promotion of events and offer the conractors assistance in forming their guided tours, so that even after the completion of LIFE STRŽEN project and without further financial stimulation, they will be economically interesting and sustainable on the tourist market.
Activities will take place every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and will be aimed at visitors of the Notranjska Park. The estimated start date is 17 April 2021 and the activities will be organized each weekend (on good weather condition) until 26 September 2021, which means a total of 24 weekends and at least 48 activities.
The Public Institution Notranjska Regional Park will adjust the actual implementation period to epidemiological conditions and the NIJZ (National Institute of Public Health) recommendations or possible restrictions on the organization of events. The Public Institution Notranjski regional park undertakes to keep contractors and participants informed about changes in the program on time.
Guided tours will be free for participants, additional services are exempt (e.g. equipment rental, souvenirs, etc.). The recommended starting point for themed weekends is at the entry point – the parking lot near Dolenje Jezero where the necessary infrastructure is provided (parking, toilets, marked collection point).
1.) SUBJECT OF THE CALL
The content of the call refers to the implementation of guided tours, which must be based on preservation and presentation of natural and cultural heritage, fauna and flora, folk customs, local crafts, culinary features and specialties (mythology, folk traditions) for tourism purposes in the area of Lake Cerknica or the Notranjska Regional Park.
2.) CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The applicant of activities may participate in the tender if:
- owing a registered operating activity (association, company and other legal forms),
- offers possibility of issuing an e-invoice (PI Notranjska Regional Park is a budget user and is only allowed to operate with e-invoices).
PI Notranjska Regional Park will conclude a contract with the selected applicants, in which mutual obligations will be defined (a sample contract is part of the tender documentation).
3.) AMOUNT OF CO-FINANCED FUNDS AND PAYMENT
PI Notranjski Regional Park will pay the contractors of guided tours € 75.00 without VAT per activity.
4.) CONTENT OF THE APPLICATION
Applications must be submitted on the form attached to the tender documentation (form
OBR1). The documentation is published on the website: life.notranjski-park.si.

6.) PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS
PI Notranjska Regional Park will review individual applications and prepare a selection of the most suitable activities pursuing the objectives of the LIFE STRŽEN project. Non-compliant applications will be excluded.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome within 14 days after the end of the call, no later than 26 February 2021.
