Two team members of Notranjska Regional Park’s Life Stržen project, Eva and Damjan, talk part in the school event “Wind in my hair – with sport against drugs”. Students of Primary School of Notranjski odred Cerknica, were devided into teams, which had to do a lot of different taks. One of them waited fort them at the checkpoint Life Notranjska Park. There were pictures of typical plants and birds from the Notranjska Park area, including the bittern bird, the mysterious endangered bird, to which we will help get back a big part of the natural environment and enable her a calm nesting. All this thanks to the Life Stržen project.

The children had to choose pairs of photographies (on one there was a picture and on the other was the name of the plant or the bird), then it was time to test their memory- we showed them only pictured photos and they had to tell us the name of the plant or the bird.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everyone did great! They gained quite a lot of points for the competition and also got to learn a lot about new plants and birds that live in their environment. They also got to know our project.
