On a circular hike through Rakov Škocjan Valley, the visitors, guided by Mitja Fajdiga, local mithologies expert, visited the oak along the road marked with the highest flooding levels, the ancient double oak above the river Rak, its diversity and natural significance, the inexhaustible spring Prunkovec, and learned many interesting facts about the natural landscape sanctuary that once stood across the street from the Rakov Škocjan Hotel. The rock circle has been destroyed, while the benevolent natural radiation there has supposedly remained and is there for everyone to test their perceptual ability.
At the end of the educational hike, at the Small Natural Bridge, the visitors indulged in a snack made of wild food from the hands of Lili Mahna from the Notranjska okuševalnica.
All guided tours of themed weekends are free of charge for participants, as it is funded by the LIFE Stržen project.
